Pet-Friendly Places to Visit

Kookaburra Park, QLD

If you’re looking for a boutique accommodation getaway that’s also pet-friendly, you’ll want to check out Kookaburra Park located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Queensland. They’re like a fancy caravan park that’s almost a farm-stay except that they rescue their animals rather than farm them.

You can choose from any zone (except the Windmill Field) to book your pet-friendly stay. If you’re a seasoned camper, the Gumtree Valley area is recommended as a great spot for dogs and kids. There’s also direct access across from the property to the Mary River where you can swim, paddle, or relax… and is a place where you’re also allowed to take the dog!
